Box of 5 units SA-D C 75 Smart-Anchor Dual System Working Cannula The anchors are made in titanium Ti6A14V alloy , one of the most common materials used for this kind of implantable devices. The anchors are packed in a box of 5 anchor pair, in the applicator. The anchors are easily attached to the impactor with help of the applicator. The Impactor is made of stainless steel and the tip is hardened to avoid damages. Features Double Loop: With double suture on top of the tissue and the distance between the two anchors, the pull out stress will be spread on a bigger surface than with one single anchor. This effect decreases the risk of tissue rupture. Pull Out Strength: When the tissue pulls, the two anchors have to deviate. This movement ensures good pull-out strength. Under normal conditions the anchors will not deviate, but the fact that this is the motion, gives very good "pull out" strength. Self Locking: When the anchors are in place, the bone structure starts to move back. By this, the bone blocks in each stair step of the anchor. This, together with the deviation motion, gives the SmartAnchor a superior pull-out strength. Fixt width: With the fixed width between the two anchors the SmartAnchor allows a big surface of tissue to be attached to the bone. With a single anchor, when making the knot, the tissue will be squeezed together. Suture of choice: It is possible to use suture of choice, as the SmartAnchor is not pre-loaded. Suture no. 2 is recommended. The anchor suture tunnel have rounded edge to avoid suture damage. |
