The Single system has been designed to meet the request from physicians as an additional anchor tool to the SmartAnchor Dual System. The simplicity of just tapping the anchor in and the fact that this anchor can be used in combination with arthroscopy gives the Single System a strong position. The applicator used is the same as for the Dual System.
New version of the SmartAnchor We are proud to announce the launching of the new version of SmartAnchor. To load the suture is now a matter of seconds. Some other very important features are also implemented. No change of instruments are needed.
The first patients are now operated in China with the SmartAnchor. The type of surgery were shoulder operations with very good result. The doctors over there are very pleased and we expect very good response on the SmartAnchor. Our distributor BJ Excel Co., LtD expect very good sales in the near future.
One year at Y-parc was celebrated on the evening of 31st of January. Some former colleagues were present to visit the new office and to see new roducts plus enjoy some snacks and drinks. Thank you for coming! We appreciated it very much.

SOFCOT meeting Paris 6 - 9 November
International Sales meeting in Bregenz Austria. The sales meeting was hold throughout the weekend, and organized by our Austrian distributor. It was a very interesting meeting and with good outcome. Thank you AMI!
Agreement with Chemedica AG Germany. MD Supply and Chemedica AG and Trans Bussan in Geneva have come to an agreement, were MD Supply will work as a consultant to establish tests, and to start up the market in some European countries for the product Viscoseal. Viscoseal is a designed device to be used as a substitute for synovial liquid after arthroscopic surgery.

15 Year anniversary celebration at Y-parc 30:th August - 1.September. The celebration was held in the building and the companies in the park had open house to show the activities. The visitors were invited guests and public.
Agreement between AMI Austria and MD Supply established for co-operation selling the SmartAnchor and the expanding bolt RESOFIX for ACL reconstructions.
By the agreement, MD Supply and AMI will share markets in order to promote the two products in more countries. The co-operation will give a powerful combination with high competence regarding the market and orthopedic surgery.

The Swedish Orthopedic Society Yearly meeting in Norrköping First of all, we want to thank the organization for a very good meeting. The location in Norrköping was extremely nice and the overall arrangement was to our satisfaction. We were showing the SmartAnchor Dual System and did a small introduction regarding the new product RESOFIX. Resofix is an new developed system for fixating ligaments when doing ACL reconstruction.
As shown the meeting offered several nice features, the whether, the food and good results. Exhibition Belgium Orthopedic Belgica Together with our distributor, HOSPITERA we exhibited at the yearly meeting in Antwerp. The interest for the SmartAnchor Dual System was very inspiring for the sales team, and several leads were obtained throughout the meeting. Several surgeons showed great enthusiasm for the product and asked for trails as soon as possible.
The 4th Symposium for Suisse surgery of the foot. MD Supply attended the meeting the 27-th of April together with our distributor in Switzerland Neutromedics SA. The meeting was concentrated on the subject "Le Pied Plat". As the SmartAnchor is a perfect solution for lateral stabilization of the ankle this was a forum for us.
New version of the SmartAnchor Dual System Impactor The new version allows the surgeon to impact the anchors the total way down without releasing the suture from the handle. A hook is placed between the two legs of the impactor tip. By placing the suture over the hook before tighten it to the buttons on the handle, the implantation can be performed without any interruption. After implantation, release the suture from the handle, pull the impactor backwards and release the suture from the hook.
